Come along and enjoy Chinese New Year and Burns Day here at The Scotch Whisky Experience.

We will be offering a free green tea to all those who have purchased a morning whisky tour. Simply take your tour ticket to The McIntyre Gallery bar after your tour to redeem (available 10am-12noon).

Whisky Bar

Our bar will be serving a whisky flight of 4 special whiskies. Scotch whiskies from newly reopened distilleries as a nod to the year of the rat will be served; this time period signifies a year of new beginnings and renewals.

A special whisky cocktail will be designed to celebrate both Chinese New Year and Burns Day, available on the 25th January.

Our famous Scottish Tapas with a Chinese twist will be offered, menu below:

Salmon and prawn dumplings with soya dip
Duck leg spring roll with plum sauce
Belly pork with 5 spice
Fried haggis wonton parcel with chili sauce
Sesame chicken balls

Burns themed Taste of Scotland menu 

Isle of Bute smoked salmon terrine with soda bread and crème fraiche
Haggis, neeps and tatties
Bonnet goats cheese and red onion crostini with hazelnut crumble

Roast chicken with skirlie mash and whisky sauce
Cullen skink risotto with hake
Fillet of beef with wild mushroom sauce and roast parsnip

Pear and apple crumble with butterscotch sauce matched with a dram
