We have three different hospitality packages to choose from running prior to The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo which runs for three weeks every August (2024 dates; Friday 2nd – Saturday 24th). Just a short walk from The Tattoo Arena, The Scotch Whisky Experience is the perfect place to start your unforgettable evening.
Flavours of Scotland
Sample Scotland’s finest produce alongside specially selected single malt whiskies. Designed for whisky fans, this package includes our sumptuous Taste of Scotland dining experience with wine and three specially selected Scotch whiskies in our elegant Castlehill Room.
This package includes a prime location seat in the outdoor arena at the Tattoo.

The Spirit of the Tattoo
Experience a culinary journey through the heart and soul of Scotland in our award-winning Amber Restaurant. This package includes a delicious three-course meal, wine, a dram of whisky with dessert, followed by coffee, tea and Scottish fudge.

The Dram
Enjoy a pre-performance guided whisky tour, including a private viewing of one of the world’s largest collections of Scotch whisky open to the public, followed by a whisky cocktail and canapé reception in our McIntyre Gallery before being escorted to the Castle Esplanade.
