From seasonal creations to well-loved classics, enjoy a range of delicious Scotch whisky cocktails in our Amber Whisky Bar.  Here are three drinks you can find on our menu all year round plus our seasonal Christmas special! Alternatively, why not mix these recipes up at home!

The ‘Old fashioned’ is considered one of the oldest cocktails in the world – a traditional you can’t go wrong with!

  • 50ml Citrussy Lowland Scotch whisky
  • 15ml Sugar syrup
  • 2 Dashes Angostura bitters
  • Splash of water
  • Soda water (optional)
  • Orange or lemon peel to garnish

Our Scottish Sling is perfect for those looking for something on the sweeter side, with pressed apple juice & rhubarb.

  • 25ml Scotch grain whisky
  • 15ml Briottet Gingembre
  • 15ml Giffard Rhubarb
  • 25ml Pressed apple juice
  • Lime wedge and apple slice to garnish

Uiscafaidh

The Uiscafaidh is our twist on an Espresso Martini. The name itself references the Scottish Gaelic word, ‘Uisge Betha’ which means “water of life” and is the origin of the word ‘whisky.’

  • 50ml Blended Scotch whisky
  • 25ml Kahlua
  • 25ml Sugar syrup
  • 25ml Cooled espresso
  • 3 Dashes chocolate bitters
  • 3 Coffee beans to garnish

  • 35ml Sherry cask whisky
  • 15ml Sherry
  • 25ml Cinnamon & star anise infused sugar syrup
  • 2 Dashes of orange bitters
  • 25ml Lemon juice
  • 25ml Egg white
  • Garnished with orange peel pierced with cloves
