There are taxi ranks located outside of the railway station at the Market Street exit.

There are no buses that go directly to the Scotch Whisky Experience however there are many stops in the surrounding area. For information about city bus ticket options see Lothian Buses. Buses 3, 5, 7, 8, 14, 30, 31, 33, 37 and 49 all cross over, and stop on North Bridge; it is then a 0.4 mile walk to the Scotch Whisky Experience.

Edinburgh has many cycle lanes within the city centre, unfortunately we do not have bike racks or bike storage for use on-site, but Johnstone Terrace behind our building has plenty of railings (at your own risk!).  The nearest secure storage is at Waverley train station (0.6m away) where there are 2-tier racks. If you would like to hire a bike to get around the city, then you can find out more from You-well. There are a few different places you can hire from across the city, at a range of prices.

Coaches can drop off and also park on Johnston Terrace which is the road that runs directly behind our building (see map above), giving easy and quick access.  Parking controls operate from 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday and Sundays 12.30pm to 6.30pm. You can also use the RingGo app to pay for coach parking or use the contactless payment machine.
