To celebrate 25 years of Amber Restaurant & Whisky Bar, our long-serving managers have each chosen a whisky that holds a special place behind the bar. Together, their selections create a tasting flight that reflects the true “spirit” of Amber – great whisky, thoughtful food pairings, and moments worth sharing.

Designed as a four-course journey, this anniversary flight invites guests to explore Scotland’s flavours in a new way, where each dram can be paired with a dish that brings its character to life.

From the seas and lochs

Brett has chosen Oban 14 which perfectly pairs with delicate trout roulade.

From the hills and glens

Phil’s pick is the rich and sherried Glendronach 18 served alongside a crisp haggis bonbon.

From the Farm

Billy’s dram is the smoky power of Ardbeg Uigeadail paired with Strathdon Blue, oatcakes and Amber chutney.

From Afar!

A shared favourite is Glenmorangie Signet paired with dark chocolate, bringing together roasted malt, espresso notes and bittersweet indulgence.

Our team!

Amber’s chefs have been creating delicious dishes for 25 years, earning awards and glowing reviews along the way. We are proud to have such a fantastic team! Here is one of our managers, Brett selecting an Oban 14 for this special anniversary flight.

Each pairing reflects not only the flavours of Scotland, but the personalities and palates of the team who have helped shape Amber over the years.

The Manager’s Choice Flight is available on its own for £49.50, or you can enjoy it paired with food. Choose the full set of four tapas style dishes (pictured), or pick individual items to pair with your flight. Each tapas sized food item is £2.50.
